Lists! Lists! Lists! To do before going: 7/23/2002
Yet another weekend comes and goes, and again I am exhausted. Bllllargh. Wanna curl up and sleep now. 7/16/2002
My weekend tired me out. Weekends are not suppose to do that. It was nice seeing my mom, even if she did sucker me into cooking for her and I made strawberry ice cream for the cookout the next day. Doing the mother/daughter bonding thing, I dragged her to "Lilo & Stitch," and had a very good time. Though I am still pondering the question, why did the evil alien scientist have a Russian accent? Not much else going on that I feel like talking about. Got the newest CCS disc on Friday, and haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Hopefully, I will tonight, as long as I manage to stay off the computer I can do it. I've got some steelhead trout to cook tonight, and I have no clue what to do with it. I know I want to use the fresh basil Mom gave me, so I might try this recipe. It sounds good, and it sounds very easy. Add. It was very good and very easy. Will make next time I get a load of basil. 7/11/2002
Long time, no blog. I still exist, I've just had nothing to say. (Flash of the Stone Lion telling something like to Jim Henson that during of the epilogue bits of the Jim Henson Hour. Did anyone but me watch that show?) Went to a Great Big Sea concert w/Friend #1. Saw the fireworks on the Mall on July 4th. Ran around madly over the weekend. Right now, I'm suffering from a Benadryl hangover. That 2 little pills can so knock a person out is amazing. All I want to do right now is go back to my bed, and curl up with my cat while I sleep it off. Since that is not going to happen, I'm going to babble while until my neurons start firing. Reading CC's live journal I was fascinated not by the issues she was discussing, but by the medical knowledge she displayed. I'm somebody who closes her eyes when the tv shows the goocky bits of medical shows, (goocky bits=anything slimy and inside the body) so I gacked words on a screen happily. As an added bonus, CC further confirms my theory that as a whole, fandom knows all. Somewhere, some fan does have the answer to whatever question you're pondering. No matter how odd the question is. Maybe we should change the name from fandom to Esoteric'R'Us? A list of things I need to do before going to Mom's this weekend Hmmm, think that's really it. Doesn't look so bad when I write it down. |
